Program Information
To become an official Junior Skills Challenge site, a golf course or instructor must register online – providing access to program materials and an online account. Offered to golf courses across Canada at no cost, the objective of the program is to develop key golf skills, while serving as an important introduction to competition.
Following registration, golf courses can host a Junior Skills Challenge event at a date of their choosing. Once the event has been completed, players scores are entered to the National Leaderboard by the instructors. Participants can track their results to see how they measure up to other players in their age category across their own province or across Canada. Local Junior Skills Challenge events and Provincial Qualifier hosted between July 20, 2022 and July 25, 2023 will be eligible for the 2023 National Leaderboard.
On Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at 12:00pm ET, Golf Canada will select the top four (4) ranked players in each age and gender category and invite them to compete in the 2023 Junior Skills Challenge National Event on August 19 & 20 at Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club.
***Please note that any Junior Skills Challenge facility event results entered into the National Leaderboard after the deadline (Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at 12:00pm ET) will NOT be eligible for the 2023 National Leaderboard under ANY circumstances, including any type of technical difficulties.
Please ensure to upload your event results in
